With this four-year Nuffic project in Ghana, attention is given to improving agricultural education for both men and women at the four colleges (Kwadaso, Ohawu, Ejura, and Damongo). Efforts will focus on both educational and organizational capacities, taking into account market needs.
Several supply chains (including tomato and fish) will be selected for the project, which will be central to providing guidance to farmers and businesses and in setting up research.
With better education, the agricultural sector can be strengthened, which will, in turn, contribute to the enhancement of food security in Ghana.
Funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and managed by Nuffic, project number NICHE/GHA/270
